For families, Cruickshanks is a very welcoming place for children, where if they want, they can take part BnB Accommodationin the ongoing farm activities on a sheep and cattle property and  learn how life ticks in the country. They can get close up and friendly with animals, see the dogs work then feed them at the end of the day. Feed the chooks and then collect the eggs. We can show and explain how a real shearing shed works, actually smell & feel the wool and ...... lots more! No organised activities, just life on a property.

While for couples, it can be just that secluded romantic retreat politely distanced from the rest of the world.

"Dulce est disipere in loco." ...... Sweet it is to relax in the right place.

Give yourselves the opportunity to simply soak up the peaceful atmosphere of Cruickshanks and leave your stress at home or back at work. Spoil yourselves ... Just sit back and relax ... there are sunny verandahs and in winter crackling wood fires ... stroll out at night to gaze at the moon in the best starry skies ... In the mornings wake up to the music of bird song and the tantalizing aromas of breakfast.

The beautiful countryside is a walker's paradise ... a photographer's delight ... an ornithologist's dream come true...it is forever an angler's challenge ... and at night a stargazer's seventh heaven.

"Simply pack great expectations and take home wonderful memories"
